Walk in Hungary

We would like to offer you a warm welcome from the
heart of Europe, from a small and often misunderstood
country that is Hungary.

For 1100 years Hungarians have lived in this land. A land
where the foothills of the Alps meet the Carpathians.
Where lowlands and plains flank the south. Home to the
largest lake in Western and central Europe and where the
”olvadas” of the mountains beyond feed the rivers criss
crossing through the country.

Nowadays its true that  Budapest offers all the glamour
and exciement of western Europe at a fraction of the
cost, however life in  the provinces is often what
captivates visitors with  a life more redolent of times past.
A simpler, slower and friendlier way of life that seems as
if we have magically stepped back in time. For nature
lovers this is the place to be.

Beautiful landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see.
We hold our arms wide open and invite any outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, ramblers,  and equestrians alike to
join us here in this unspoilt landscape  and to join us on bespoke tours, in northern Hungary, home to the
country’s finest and most scenic landscapes.

These tailor made tours have been created and planned by ourselves from years of exploration both on
horseback and on foot. Our trails pass through limestone plateaus, old forests, typical Hungarian villages and
areas abundant with wildlife. We have tours suitable for  all ages and levels of ability, but our tours are not
rushed. The emphasis is to enjoy your surroundings and time is set aside to enable this. We also cater for
partners who may not wish to walk at all and would prefer to relax at a thermal spa, spend a day by the pool or
to go sight seeing.

Our breaks are hotel based, either in small local hotels or guest houses. The main feature of the
accommodation that we use is that they offer a warm welcome and do speak English. All of the rooms are en-
suite. Traditional Hungarian cuisine is available either at the guest houses or at a restaurant within walking
distance. There is also no lack of fine local wines since northern Hungary is home to two wine producing
regions.
